Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. This unit serves as an inpatient overflow area with a mixed level of care, including medical-surgical and step-down patients. The ideal candidate will manage quick turnover patients, with an average length of stay of 24 hours, ensuring high-quality nursing care and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring for patients as needed.
• Perform nursing assessments and manage patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support and mentor nursing staff as needed.
• Document patient care and progress in EMR (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Telemetry competency required.
• Progressive Care experience is essential.
• Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
