    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Clinical Decision/PCU role requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Position is in the Clinical Decision/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital
    • Work schedule is 6:45AM to 7:15PM on a 13-week contract
    • Patient population includes those requiring progressive care and clinical observation
    • No local candidates allowed due to a 50-mile radius rule
    • Responsible for assessing, monitoring, and providing care to patients in a progressive care setting
    • Expected to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
    • Must comply with holiday coverage per hospital policy

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license required
    • Minimum one year of recent experience in PCU or clinical decision unit setting
    • Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • NIH Stroke Certification required
    • US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSN) and date of birth required for consideration
    • Must provide required professional references, with two for Florida and Missouri, and one for all other states
    • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
