    # Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry/Progressive Care – North Carolina

    Start Date: February 5, 2026

    Location: Asheville, North Carolina

    Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

    Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, no call. Patient ratios typically 1:5 to 1:6 depending on acuity level.

    Highlights:

    • 20-bed inpatient overflow unit with mixed medical-surgical and step-down patients
    • Short-stay unit focused on quick turnover with approximately 24-hour length of stay
    • Progressive care environment with telemetry monitoring; all patients hardwired to bedside monitors
    • EMR system: Cerner
    • Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 CNAs
    • Opportunity to float to other units as needed for varied clinical experience

    Requirements:

    • Active RN license in North Carolina (or eligibility for compact licensure)
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Telemetry competency required
    • Progressive care/step-down experience required
    • Recent progressive care experience strongly preferred
    • Ability to manage mixed acuity patient populations
