- define quality strategy, goals, and metrics for software and process quality in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- evaluate process quality according to Automotive SPICE
- conduct reviews of code, design, tests, and project documents
- regularly collect metrics, preferably automated
- create quality reports and report status to management, project team members, and clients, as well as make recommendations
- assist in establishing new processes
- maintain contact with quality departments of suppliers and clients
