    Description

    Position Purpose:

    The Director of Marketing is responsible for implementing innovative marketing strategies that will build the AWM brand, and lead to increased awareness, fundraising revenue, relevance, and respect among our target audience. The DMO will work with the Director of Strategy and Data Analysis as well as the marketing management team to develop effective marketing strategies that will further the organization's goals. The DMO will lead and mentor the marketing team, and bring strategic, creative, and financial acumen as well as a strong business intellect to take our organization to the next level.

    Essential Duties:
    • Develop digital, print, and campaign strategiesin line with Ministry goals and objectives.
    • Develop, mentor, lead, and direct the Marketing department to include Marketing Campaign Management, Creative Services, and Digital Marketing.
    • Budget, plan, manage, communicate, coordinate, and measure results of all marketing efforts and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity.
    • Continually conduct marketing research, staying abreast of marketing trends.
    • Collaborate with the digital marketing and creative services teams to create and publish powerful, engaging, and accurate visual and written content for marketing, event promotions, and new product launches.
    • Management of ongoing, current social media channels and content
    • Proactively coordinate, communicate, and work with AWM and Charis leadership, Administration, Conferences, third-party vendors, and other departments to achieve results.
    • Review and approve all marketing requests from AWM and Charis.
    • Provide executive summaries, goals, priorities, and updates, discuss and establish priorities.
    • Keeps up to date with emerging technologies and maintains technical knowledge of marketing.
    • Oversee and direct the efforts of the marketing team.
    • Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, satisfaction, and renewal rates.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills,andAbilities:
    • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
    • Proven marketing campaign experience
    • Ability to design and execute effective new market launch strategies
    • Demonstrated performance in strategic goal-setting and planning.
    • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills with a team focus.
    • An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
    • Able to manage, train, and effectively lead in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and desktop publishing programs, and Adobe Creative Suite programs.
    Requirements:
    • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
    • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Project Management certification (PMP or CAPM) via PMI is a plus.
    • Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
    • Must pass all required checks.
    Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of well-rounded marketing experience in a similar role
    • 5-10 Years' experience in management or project management environment.
      • 3-5 years of leadership experience with the ability to motivate and provide professional development to a team of 3 or more direct reports
    • Experience building brand awareness and support internally
    • Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO, and the top social media channels
    • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
    • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
