We are currently searching for a Companion Animal Sales Coordinator to support the commercial efforts of the business. This position will work closely with sales, marketing and the supply chain teams to ensure the success and prioritization of customer opportunities, projects and commercial initiatives. The Ca Sales Coordinator will have regular communication with territory sales managers, customer service, supply chain and the technical/formulation team to ensure the companys business targets and objectives are achieved long term.
**Responsibilities**
+ Deliver Sales Opportunities
Collaborate with the sales team to understand needs for commercial success (customer specific needs/projects)
Collaborate with marketing and keep up with industry opportunities (Pet Food Processing, Pet Food Industry, etc.)
Drive success for top identified opportunities
Owner of the commercial risks and opportunities portfolio to ensure proper prioritization of commercial opportunities
Alignment with local finance for proper forecasting
+ Customer Project Coordination
Responsible to drive and monitor customer projects
Coordinate start to finish of projects with proper lead, team members, and cadence
Align with Director of Sales on key initiatives and serve as lead project manager
Ensure internal supply chain is aligned for continued success of each project (pricing, quality, regulatory, procurement, operations, formulation, S&OP)
+ Meeting Coordination
Responsible for the agenda and coordination of internal sales meeting and customer strategic meetings
Coordination with office manager/event planner on appropriate facilities, meals, entertainment, etc.
+ Commercial Reporting
Responsible to generate and review reports with sales team on key business drivers (CRM utilization, SPIN implementation, and PowerBI financial projections)
Ensure NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) are current. Work in conjunction with sales team to update NDAs prior to or at their expiration.
Responsible to provide monthly reporting updates to Dir of Sales.
+ Blending & Premix Institute (BPI)
Serve as the backup for the BPI facilitator and lead
Assist in the coordination of the BPIs ensuring alignment to customers specific needs**Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree in business or equivalent experience
+ 2-5 years experience in a coordination-related role
+ Project Management experience
+ Pet Industry experience preferred
+ Strong computer skills including knowledge of PowerPoint, word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications and CRM.
+ Good communication, skills both written and verbal.
+ Interpersonal skills must have excellent communication skills so they can work well other managers and with staff.
+ Indirect leadership skills
+ Problem-solving skills/ Critical Thinking - identify issues and how to solve them.This is a full-time position, located at our Highland, Illinois location (30 miles east of St. Louis, MO).
