Procure To Pay Global Process Owner


This position also provides an opportunity to enhance processes and create insightful self-serve reporting enabling business decisions and would be a great fit for anyone with a passion in finance and accounting looking to broaden their business acumen.

What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?

We are looking for good talent with experience in Procure to Pay with the below suitable requirements.

  • A professional qualification in management or accounting with 12+ years of experience in Procure to Pay function.
  • At least 5+ years of people management experience in Accounts Payable or related function with a similar company.
  • Solid experience in Oracle/SAP ERP systems
  • Strategic Leadership
  • Independent thinker and influencer
  • Strong process and accounting knowledge
  • Independently handle & be responsible for the team and accountable for a team's day to day responsibilities.
  • Deep understanding of procurement, supplier data management, cash payments and accounting for AP function.
The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment is critical. Your primary responsibilities will also include providing value add analysis and financial guidance to the business.

Success in the Role:
What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

  • Accountable for Procure to Pay team's day to day responsibilities at the Shared Service Center(s) in the areas of Accounts Payable, Procurement, Supplier Data Management, Supplier Query Support and other strategic projects
  • Act as a site leader for Procure to Pay function
  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners for process/policy change and/or system enhancements
  • Act as the point of contact for any internal critical issues or process exceptions
  • Talent management through hiring, training, mentoring and engage in professional development discussions
  • Compliance to internal policy and SOX for all transactions processed in Procure to Pay areas
  • Manage escalation from internal and external stake holders
  • Support the team during systems change and/or implementation
  • Capable of facilitating resolutions to issues related to cross functional operations
  • Drive month close process and manage executive reporting of Procure to Pay metrices
  • Exercises discernment within defined procedures and practices to resolve appropriate action

The primary goal of this role is to manage Procure to Pay process across the globe.

  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners for process/policy change and/or system enhancements
  • Track record of showing finance leadership in a dynamic, fastgrowing environment
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strength in succinctly explaining complex transactions and business impact
  • Ability to drive processbased improvement across functions and within Finance
  • Strong collaboration skills for driving solutions in a crossfunctional initiatives
  • Strong leadership and development, coaching capabilities to optimize performance
  • Ability to manage cross cultural teams
