    Description
    The client is looking to expand our Database Operations team.

    We are looking for a passionate DBA who can bring strong expertise to help transform/support our on-premise/Amazon/Azure database technologies (SQL Server/PostgreSQL Iaas/PaaS).

    The position requires you to be a team player for a small and focused DB Ops group that is responsible for architecting designing building scaling and supporting RDBMS platforms.

    You will collaborate with the broader DevOps Data Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver solutions and drive change in support of our mission.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities Apply your depth of knowledge and experience towards enabling our business to transition to the cloud.

    Bring both relational and non-relational chops to help us build and maintain our SaaS data stores in the cloud (AWS/Azure).

    Ensure the continuous availability of our mission-critical systems. Help manage all aspects of our AWS/Azure instances and storage backing our cloud platforms. Conquer the day-to-day operational aspects of our systems Performance monitoring/tuning HA/DR strategies Backup strategies Query tuning Cloud instance/storage design provisioning and performance monitoring On-prem to cloud migrations Automate routine tasks with your own scripts and open-source toolsMandatory Skills 5+
