    Responsibilities:
    Manage the Global Qorvo spend on category specific foundry and achieve annual cost reduction goals.
    Maintain working knowledge of current and developing technologies.
    Collaborate with technical stakeholders to qualify alternative sources for assurance of supply.
    Measure supplier performance, conduct supplier business reviews and implement improvements.
    Measure spending and savings, set reduction goals and manage projects to achieve success.
    Maintain Category Strategy and present Category report-outs to leadership.
    Maintain Business Acumen to stay ahead of the industry curve.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelors Degree required in Supply Chain or Electrical Engineering; Master's Degree preferred
    15+ years of experience as a category manager (supply chain, sourcing, project management or equivalent experience)
    Knowledge about semiconductor foundry and fab materials and silicon supply chain.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to clarify complex situations and gather consensus with internal and external audiences


    Multitasking:
    the ability to manage numerous activities simultaneously and reprioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
    Background in (or work closely with) wafer manufacturing and Process Engineering
    Experience with SAP (Material Management module, PO, Material Master, etc.) and supplier contract administrator

    Self-Managed/Motivated:
    the ability to independently set priorities, meet commitments and the desire to seek valuable improvements.
    Prefer Lean working knowledge supported with certification
