We are currently looking for you as a project engineer in the major project ABS 46/2 for construction section 4/5 (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at the Duisburg location.

The Emmerich-Oberhausen route is an important section in European freight transport.

With a length of around 73 kilometers, it is a key piece in the freight corridor from Rotterdam to Genoa.

Due to the increased freight and passenger traffic in recent years, the route has reached its capacity limit.

In order to meet this development, Deutsche Bahn will make extensive structural changes to the route in the coming years.

Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for the successful planning and implementation of complex projects or project phases
  • Your responsibilities also include continuous monitoring and control of the contractually agreed performance in terms of costs, deadlines and quality in all project phases, as well as compliance with relevant laws, regulations and environmental requirements and goals
  • As a project engineer, you always keep an eye on costs: you check and process incoming claims promptly, make costs transparent and contribute to suggestions for cost reduction
