    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our clients growing and well-established firm in Fairfield County. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, must be tech savvy, have the ability to work independently and with a team, along with a strong desire to be willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities. This position will require managing the audit department and team. They are committed to practicing work/life balance out of tax season and offer extremely competitive salary and benefit packages.

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to work fully on-site
    • Manage a team of at least 5 direct reports
    • Develop relationships with clients and other stakeholders
    • Participates in the development of and support the client's strategic plans
    • Regional and local travel to client locations and training courses
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
    • CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
    • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
    • 3-5+ years of experience at a mid to large-size public accounting firm specializing in financial services and non-profits.
    • The ability to work fully on-site
    • A demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines
    • Experienced auditing tax provisions and reviewing current returns and audit practices
    • Salary expectations: $90k+
