- Responsible for training, scheduling, & managing an effective team of medication technicians and caregivers.
- Responsible for resident care assessments for all residents.
- Responsible for ensuring the community is adequately staffed.
- Is involved in new resident admissions and manages current levels of care to ensure resident care needs are being met at all times.
- Interacts with hospice nurses, in-home care providers, and families to ensure our staff is current with resident needs.
- Oversees the med room to ensure orders are current, MARS are being followed, and does periodic audits to ensure compliance.
- Coordinates and oversees all continuing education for care staff.
- Must have a flexible work schedule and be available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week to respond to residential care emergencies that may arise.
- Must be good with a computer and modern software programs and cloud storage and be able to quickly become familiar with our Resident EMAR software solution (Eldermark).
- Understands Title XXII rules and regulations.
- Must be CPR certified and pass a criminal background check.
- Must have previous management experience in a skilled nursing facility or an assisted living community.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Must be reliable, hard-working, upbeat, work well with others, a team player, and have a can-do attitude.
