    Description

    Our direct client, based in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Technical Lead who has hands-on software development experience with GCP and Java technologies.

    This role is a hybrid on-site position and you will be required to work on-site 2-3 days per week in the Parsippany, NJ office.

    The Tech Lead is responsible for leading and managing a team of developers and engineers to develop and deliver effective web-based cloud solutions for the company's external customers.

    This is a greenfield effort to build an exciting and new supply chain product. This position requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in cloud services, architecture, web development and best practices. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest GCP technologies and trends to provide industry-leading solutions.

    Your role::


    • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 software engineers to develop and deliver a new customer-facing cloud solution.
    • You will partner with Business leadership and the Supply Chain Product Lead to establish vision, strategy and road map and then execute on the same.
    • Collaborate with UI/UX Designer and Product Lead to understand the business requirements and design GCP architecture to meet the needs of external clients.
    • Provide a combination of hands-on development, technical guidance and mentorship to the team to develop their skills and expertise in GCP.
    • In this role, you are responsible for the overall design, implementation and quality of the code the team produces across this new Product Development project.
    • You are accountable for daily status on tech design, development, and resource management

    Qualifications:

    • 8-10+ years experience in Java and Javascript software development demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
    • 3+ years experience leading a team of 2 or more software developers
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
    • Experience producing solution designs for large-scale, highly available, external customer platforms in the cloud
    • Ability to communicate complex technical design concepts and translate into non-technical business solutions.
    • Able to communicate well with all levels in the organization and must be comfortable as a primary contact to internal stakeholders and external customers.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Experience in Agile, Waterfall and other software development methodologies Preferred Qualifications :
    • Experience developing within a Cloud environment with good knowledge of cloud infrastructure like GCP is a plus.
    • Experience with ecommerce and logistics a huge plus
