- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions.
- Manage Azure Entra, ensuring seamless integration, optimization, and adherence to best practices.
- Implement and manage public and private cloud-based solutions, including HCI Platforms, AWS, and Azure, leveraging infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) offerings, Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement IT projects and initiatives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing best practices.
- Document network and system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network and systems engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco, Juniper, and Ubiquiti Networks.
- Experience with server operating systems, such as Windows Server and Linux.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including experience with IaaS and PaaS offerings.
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong problem solving-skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and end-users, fostering positive working relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proven track record of collaborating across departments and levels of the organization to achieve common goals.
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences and effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in facilitating training sessions and workshops to promote IT best practices and enhance user proficiency.
