As an Event Security Supervisor, you will oversee the security officers ensuring the safety and security of all attendees, staff, and assets.

You will be responsible for managing a team of security personnel, implementing security protocols, and coordinating with event organizers to mitigate potential risks and maintain order.

Your leadership and decision-making skills will be crucial in handling emergencies and resolving conflicts effectively while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Event Security Dates - May 22 to June 12, 2024 (Cricket World Cup)

Eisenhower Park, East Meadow NY


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise a team of security personnel during events, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support.
  • Implement security plans and procedures tailored to the event, considering factors such as venue layout, crowd size, and potential threats.
  • Conduct preevent briefings with security staff to review assignments, discuss protocols, and address any concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure compliance with event policies.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, utilizing appropriate deescalation techniques and following established protocols.
  • Conduct postevent debriefings to evaluate security measures, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, reports, and personnel assignments, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Work Experience

  • Valid NYS security guard license
  • A minimum of two (2) year work history in a security supervisory role
  • Provide friendly and exceptional customer service for the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to write accurate and concise reports for team members and supervisors
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound judgement calmly and effectively
  • Experience in scheduling, security operations, and other functions of the security industry are a plus.
  • Associate's Degree, or its equivalent, or related prior experience in the corporate security industry and/or military is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual
  • Previous law enforcement or military experience
  • 60 college credits in criminal justice school
