    The Senior Estimator will ensure safe, productive, and effective operations by:Identifying and quantifying construction elementsEntering quantities into pricing softwareProviding initial data for Commence softwareSupplying Contracts Department with specifications for insurance requirementsSending new contracts for reviewCultivating vendor relationships and assessing capabilitiesAnalyzing and scoping vendors for best valueCompleting estimates, including bid form requirements and special equipment needsResearching construction history for value engineeringPackaging and sending proposals on timeFollowing up with clients for bid receipt and deal closureDeveloping client relationships for future opportunitiesCollecting data on lost jobs for market monitoringProviding information to Marketing post-bidTracking projects until awardedSetting up transition meetings for Project ManagersProviding overview of proposals to project teamsAssisting with changes and submittal approvalsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and 7+ years' experience, or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Office and Estimating softwareStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret technical documents and regulationsEffective client and team interactionUnderstanding of safety and OSHA requirements in estimates#J-18808-Ljbffr
