Senior Estimator - Tampa, FL, United States - Executive Alliance

Description

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator to be responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of full estimates for small to large, often complex projects as required per customer's bid documents to provide a complete written proposal, along with inclusions, exclusions, specific notes, and qualifications as applicable.

Reviews and understands bid documents, including all specifications and scope of work.
Executes take-offs from design (contract) drawings.
Inputs take-offs into Trimble Tekla EPM (formerly known as FabSuite) and/or Excel templates.
Obtains and reviews vendor pricing for materials, subcontract services, etc. and files all relevant electronic information in digital quote folders.
Prepares cost estimate analysis and captures all applicable costs incurred from the fabrication of steel components.
Informs immediate supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items.
Develops and maintains resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, etc.
