Join us at HDI AG in Springfield. Within the HDI Group, we combine tasks for private and commercial insurance companies, as well as industrial insurance. This position can be filled full-time or part-time (up to 38 hours/week) at our locations in Mainz or Stuttgart.

Responsibilities

Independently underwrite technical insurance risks (installation, construction, machinery, electronics)
Monitor and manage own customer portfolio with a focus on profitability and sales, in collaboration with relevant interfaces
Conduct negotiations and annual meetings with brokerages and clients
Perform risk and damage inspections
Install and manage international insurance programs
Contribute to the development and improvement of underwriting and process standards

Profile

Trained insurance and finance professionals, with further education as an insurance specialist or a completed engineering degree, or equivalent qualifications
Extensive experience in underwriting technical insurance for international large clients with complex insurance needs
Team player with an agile working style
Organizational skills, strong communication, negotiation skills, and a confident demeanor
Good knowledge of English
Willingness to travel for business purposes.
