    Description

    In search of a bright, engaging, and forward-thinking Director of Human Resources to support all facets of HR for this organization. The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will evaluate the organization's human resource function; and plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct this function's performance.

    Responsibilities

    • HR Compliance, benefits administration, compensation framework, talent acquisition up to and including succession planning, career laddering, and retention, assuring appropriate systems, performance management, and coaching
    • Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
    • Effective communication in all situations and at high standards; including assuring that HR is clearly defined, effective, efficient, and active in following the organization's guidelines
    • Builds Talent in support of the organization's diversity, including and racial equity strategy as well as identifies opportunities for process optimization, making and managing talent pipeline, and develops staffing as it relates to strategy
    • Develops and enhances strategies and policies to maximize employee skillsets; plans and develops training and development programs
    • Manages the employee compensation strategy aligning strategy by quarterly internal equity review, reports, and resolving any issues needing attention; creates and implements total compensation management packages/offerings
    • Responsible for preparing, negotiating, and managing the HR budget
    • Attends meetings as a member of the leadership team prepared to share HR initiatives and impacts, mission, priorities, and values.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management; MBA or Masters in HR Management is Preferred; HR certification a plus
    • 8+ years' of professional HR experience; preference for experience working in a not-for-profit business a plus
    • Experience working across a complex organization and ability to translate business strategies into organizational and HR strategies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A track record of success in creating policies, processes, and programs with successful results in growth and bottom-line profitability while enhancing or driving culture change
    • Must have excellent spoken and written communication skills, and promote the organization with the utmost confidentiality, integrity, and honesty
