Located in Peabody, MA, Delande Supply is one of the largest independent electrical distributors in the area, serving contractors, OEMs, and industrial and commercial customers across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
Because of a planned retirement, Delande Supply seeks a finance leader with excellent supervisory and analytical skills to oversee the finance and human resources department.
Key Responsibilities include:
Supervise general accounting activities and oversee all functions of accounting personnel.
Ensure company credit policies and procedures are being maintained.
Serve as banking and insurance liaison and respond to outside CPA's requests for financial information.
Responsible for monthly financials, balance sheets, and cash-flow reporting.
Set and approve credit limits for customers.
Review order entry, accounts payable, and other documents accurately and efficiently.
Perform prescreening for job applicants and ensure new hire and employee paperwork is complete and filed. Update the company's human resources handbook and perform periodic employee reviews.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, journal, and general ledger entries, including payroll.
The successful candidate will bring:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent.
Excellent customer service skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
Strong Excel, ERP, and payroll systems experience.
