**Job Summary**
This position interfaces with customers, suppliers, sales and plant personnel on a daily basis to facilitate an efficient, timely and accurate order fulfillment process and promote customer satisfaction. This position will be from May to August, Monday - Friday 40 hours a week.
Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
Call Contract Haulers and make Delivery Assignments as needed.
Dispatch deliveries for optimum customer service levels, using company trucks and common contract carriers.
Generate pick tickets, delivery tickets, and maintain silo tracking sheet as required.
Scan completed and signed delivery tickets. Sort and match pick tickets and delivery tickets daily - including tracking contract carrier tickets and file.
Provide customer service and support. Assist customers with questions concerning shipments and status or orders.
Take phone/fax orders for Tech Mix, SPEC MIX bagged products and block orders.
Coordinate with payroll department including submittal of Sick Pay, Vacation, etc. forms to insure all time records are accurately submitted.
Work with sales personnel, maximize on-time deliveries and exceed customer expectations.
Order, receive and maintain office, and safety supplies.
Monitor and order/assist in ordering raw, related, resale and miscellaneous materials.
Reconcile inventory counts as needed.
Other related tasks as assigned by management.
**Qualifications**
High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
Dispatching/customer service in construction materials preferred.
Be self-motivated with adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all company safety procedures and recommendations.
Amcon Concrete Products, LLC is the concrete block manufacturing arm of TCC Materials. Amcon manufacturing facilities run year-round servicing customers primarily in the seven-state Midwest region. Amcon has six locations in Minnesota & South Dakota.
