- Lead a team of engineers and researchers in the design, characterization & manufacturing of photonic integrated circuits with a focus on quantum computing applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of photonic integrated circuit projects, from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate photonic technologies into larger quantum computing systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum technologies and photonic integrated circuits, incorporating relevant innovations into our projects.
- Drive research initiatives to explore new possibilities and enhance the performance of our quantum computing systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and industry experts to leverage collective knowledge and accelerate project success.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on photonic integrated circuits and quantum technologies.
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading the development of photonic integrated circuits, ideally in a quantum computing context.
- Strong background in quantum information processing, quantum optics, and quantum technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and optimizing photonic devices for quantum applications.
- Experience leading a team, managing direct reports, reporting to the C-Level staff & developing roadmaps.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
