OSC Assembly Packing/ Receiving


Responsibilities:


Position requires being able to lift up to 50lbs semi-regularly with the assistance of lifting equipment while also packaging completed jobs that the shop floor employees have completed.

The individual is to perform all the duties to achieve maximum cell efficiency including safely moving boxes, skids and other packages to ensure an effective shipping area.

Duties include making boxes, use of a tape and staple gun, moving loads with a pallet jack and be able to close work out systematically.

The Assembly Department is responsible for the Assembly and Wiring of a variety of components and key products required for maintenance and modernization of Elevators and Escalators.


Experience/Qualifications:


  • Ability to adhere to the Otis' Absolutes of Safety, Ethics, and Quality required.
  • Must be a team player committed to continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated skills in mechanical dexterity and material handling.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to participate in annual inventory.
  • All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required.

Education:

Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.


Pay:
$20.00 per hour
