Responsibilities:

  • Support the conception and implementation of a consolidated financial statement according to HGB
  • Organize and coordinate groupwide reporting for monthly and annual financial statements, as well as management reporting
  • Work closely with subsidiaries on reporting and accounting issues
  • Lead and participate in projects to further develop consolidation and other topics in global finance and accounting
  • Responsible for groupwide intercompany reconciliation
  • Responsible for selecting and implementing a consolidation software
  • Develop a group accounting policy
  • Act as a competent contact for subsidiaries, auditors, and management
  • Assist in monitoring and documenting transfer prices
  • Participate in the integration of new subsidiaries into the group

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or international accounting
  • Several years of experience in group accounting of an internationally operating company
  • Strong knowledge of HGB accounting principles
