Description

Duties & Responsibilities include:


  • Assist new and current team members with developing skills needed to perform job duties within the regional clinical areas assigned.
  • Assist new and current team members with developing process improvement within the clinical areas and ensuring adherence to Regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure 120 days competency and skills are reviewed and met. Oversee the annual competencies with the account leaders.
  • Ensure team members at each hospital achieve and maintain 100% CRCST certification.
  • Assist with the oversight and training process of CRCST for both new hires and current team members.
  • Oversee the onsite orientation of new hires within the region assigned.
  • Plan and implement curricula including practice requirements that meets the standards of practice for the profession, certifying bodies and regulatory agencies. Participate in a plan and ensure a regular, systematic review of all programs, including course objectives, teaching methods/materials and evaluation tools.
  • Responsible for hospital QA/PI activities as outlined in KPI's for each hospital/account.
  • Maintain close contact with each hospital's clinical education team.
  • Coordinate regular inservices for local team with the vendors of the hospitals.

Qualifications:


  • Education: high school diploma or GED; some college preferred
  • Certifications: Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) and Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification required.
  • Previous Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in sterile processing and/or the operating room
  • Outstanding customer service skills: ability to build strong rapport with the hospital teams and fellow Surgical Solutions team members
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time to multiple site locations as needed
