    Description
    We have a current opportunity for a Senior Python Developer (Risk) on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Chicago. For further information about this position please apply.

    Our client is rapidly growing Prop Trading firm You will be working alongside other software engineers, quants, traders, and will be responsible for the development and daily operations of an event based risk management system and market data service platform.

    This includes creating new functionality and implementation of the platform.


    Required Skills & Qualifications:


    Advanced Python Development skills, and SQLExperience working with distributed systems and large data setsStrong knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, OOP, threading, multiprocessing, etcFamiliarity working with KafkaExperience working in a Linux environment and gitExperience developing infrastructure for quantitative tradingStrong communicator and analytical problem solverEOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
