    We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Rehabilitation for our Inpatient Acute Care setting at Memorial Hospital in NYC.

    If you are a NYS licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist with clinical and supervisory experience in acute care, we are looking for you to join our growing team Our Center offer the highest standards of comprehensive cancer care in an environment designed to meet the unique needs of cancer patients and their families.

    Partner and assist the Manager on initiatives that plan and align clinical programming and operations around the Center and Department mission and goals within Rehabilitation.

    Assist in the management and supervision of therapy supervisors and staff to ensure optimal functioning of operations.
    Assist in oversight and development of clinical programs/projects/operations necessary for the smooth functioning of the department.
    Ensure the provision of quality physical and occupational therapy services from pediatrics to adults.
    Provides patient care and managerial support as needed.
    New York State Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy License.
    ~Acute care experience is essential. Invested and effective in mentoring and fostering relationships and networks.
    Experienced in clinical patient care utilizing an evidence-based approach.
    Innovative in operations management and process improvement.
    Flexible and adaptable with strong time management/organizational skills.
    Confident and effective in verbal and written communication including computer skills.
    Hours vary between 7a-7p Mon-Fri & 7:30a-6p on weekends (subject to change)


    Note:
    This position will have a weekend component which will be determined.

    Our Rehabilitation Service has extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of cancer rehabilitation and has been recognized both nationally and internationally.
