- Assists in coordinating and administering all aspects of filings with state insurance departments. This may include:
- Compiling all required information and disseminating/communicating necessary information to others.
- Analyzing and responding to objections and inquiries from state regulatory authorities.
- Assists in developing new and revised insurance products, policies, and other required forms to ensure compliance with state regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Assists with researching, documenting, and communicating routine compliance related issues.
- May serve as administrative liaison with others both internal and external to the organization regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, facilities and operations.
- May review pertinent insurance publications to determine impact on line of business including identifying emerging coverage issues, state regulatory concerns, and business unit needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
