- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organization's employee benefits programs, such as medical, dental and vision plans, life insurance and disability plans, 401(k), non-qualified, pension plans and retiree benefit plans.
- Responsible for the management of the 401(k) plan with third party recordkeepers including weekly payroll funding and reconciliation.
- Ensures benefit plans are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead the annual retirement plan non-discrimination testing, match true-up and audit processes.
- Works with outside auditors in preparation of the retirement plan financials and associated Forms 5500.
- Primary contact for the Benefits Call Center and handles escalated matters in an efficient manner that ensures timely resolution.
- Responsible for the annual open enrollment process including implementing changes with benefit plan vendors and drafting communications to employees.
- Responsible for development of wellness initiatives including targeted communications.
- Collaborate with HRIS for new interface files and modifications of current files. Identifies benefits data integrity issues and coordinates the resolution of data integrity issues with necessary parties.

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or other related discipline OR equivalent combination of experience and education required
- 5+ years of benefits experience required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint
- Knowledge and experience with UltiPro or other HR/Payroll software required
- Up to 10% travel
- PHR or SPHR a plus
- To be successful in this position, incumbent must possess excellent program management skills, strong communicator, as well as excellent organizational skills
- Incumbent must exercise tact, discretion, and professionalism when dealing with internal and external customers and in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Anticipates the environment, is forward thinking, sees the 'big picture' then uses critical thinking ability to help identify and deliver targeted solutions to support the function and the business overall
- Able to handle both routine tasks and be an agile contributor and learner, taking on new responsibilities
