The Comprehensive Transplant Unit is a 32 bed adolescent/adult surgical unit.

The unit offers 3 levels of care:
floor, telemetry, and intermediate levels of care


Care and services provided:

post-operative abdominal organ (kidney, liver, and pancreas) transplant recipients; as well as medical management of complications secondary to transplantation.

This unit is the designated step down for the
Composite Tissue Allotransplantation (hand & face) recipients.

New graduate nurses will have a 10 week orientation to general/tele and then an additional 6 weeks to IMC level.

Qualifications:


  • Associate degree from Accredited Nursing Program required. BSN/MSN matriculation required within 1 year of hire and completion of degree within 5 years of hire.
  • Applicants with an Associate's degree
    JHH provides
    Tuition Reimbursement towards earning your BSN/MSN
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required
  • RN work experience required
