    Your natural drive for success combined with great relationship-building skills and the ability to think strategically while creating systems and processes, will allow you to shine in this role. You will be tasked with managing the functions within the Carrier Sales Department including, but not limited to: sourcing new carriers, building relationships, negotiating with carriers, dispatching drivers, managing the shipment life cycle.

    What you're expected to do:

    • Build positive relationships with prospective carriers through regular communication
    • Source new carriers based on client demand
    • Manage the new carrier onboarding process through RMIS
    • Analyze the North American surface transportation market
    • Engage in negotiations with motor carriers to secure capacity for client demand
    • Effective application and usage of technology
    • Manage shipment lifecycle through our transportation management system (TMS)
    • Participate in weekly meetings with manager to discuss performance
    • Assist Carrier Sales Manager with daily job functions
