    Description

    For the past 29 years, DPC Technology has been providing computer support, and outsourced IT and network implementation solutions to dental practices and small businesses throughout Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Specialized in Dental IT, our management team has 100 years of combined experience in the field and has extensive knowledge when it comes to helping companies find the right fit from an IT perspective. DPC performs in the top 10% of companies in our industry and has a targeted niche, defined sales process, and marketing department which brings in about 75% of your leads per month.

    DPC is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working individual to be responsible for selling Managed IT Services to small businesses in South Carolina. The primary focus of the Outside Sales Representative is to find and close new prospects by handling onsite appointments and providing demonstrations.

    Education/Previous Experience Recommendations:

    • Proven prior experience with closing new business and being compensated in a base + commission role.
    • Proven prior experience hitting quota and motivated by closing new business. This is not a position for farming existing clients.

    Main Duties:

    • Initiate contact with prospects that have been generated by the Marketing Team.
    • Prospect through networking events and cold-calling.
    • Work with prospects to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands.
    • Conduct presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to prospects.
    • Work with management to develop proposals.
    • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
    • Manage the complexity of Managed IT services proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements.
    • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company.
    • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures.

    Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy.
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customers' needs.
    • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
    • Responsible for entering time and expenses as they occur.
    • Understand processes by completing assigned training materials.
    • Enter all work as activities.
    • This position will require frequent local travel.

    Required Skills:

    • Outside sales experience with selling relevant services and products.
    • Possess a track record of managing customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process.
    • Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships.
    • Enjoy working with customers and external audiences.
    • High energy and drive with good negotiation skills.
    • Proficient with general office applications.
    • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
    • Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
    • Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
    • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
    • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60, $150,000.00 per year
