Summary:


Join our team in Irvine, CA as a CNC Lathes and Mills Operator We're seeking individuals experienced in CNC O.D.

Grind, I.D. Grind, and Crush Grind operations, although any relevant experience in this category is highly valued. As part of our team, you'll operate various conventional and/or numerically controlled machining centers on semi-complex jobs. Your contributions will be integral to our lean initiatives aimed at boosting productivity and cutting costs. Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate multiple production machines, performing various machine operations according to preplanned instructions.
  • Align and secure workpieces using standard fixtures and established methods.
  • Install and adjust cutting tools as per material requirements.
  • Follow established manufacturing methods, utilizing standard production machines, materials, and tooling.
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to ensure highquality parts.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to deburr precision machine parts to close tolerances.
  • Inspect parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, accuracy, and reliability as per division requirements.
  • Perform statistical process control (SPC) activities accurately and regularly.
  • Actively participate in lean initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lean concepts in the work area.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety rules, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


  • Three years of related machining experience, with the ability to work with limited guidance in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in machine setups.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics, including trigonometry.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to participate in goalsetting, performance feedback, and selfdevelopment activities.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • ID/OD Grinding: 3 years (preferred)
  • CNC lathe: 3 years (preferred)
  • CNC milling machine: 3 years (preferred)
  • Crush grind: 3 years (preferred)
  • Centerless grinding: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Irvine, CA 92618: Relocate before starting work (required)
