- Assist the Controller in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts on a timely basis.
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and insights for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of external financial audits.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
- Continuously streamline and improve financial processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000
