Duties:


  • Translate comprehension of current and future strategic, operational, and tactical challenges facing diverse Army MI Cloudnative and third party solutions to business development initiatives.
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop a highenergy team to excel through transition and change, including mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and performance standards.
  • Provide leadership to solve problems and enable the ability to architect future technological solutions to create products and services to increase opportunities at the right time and in the right places.
  • Participate on or chair various interagency committees, boards, or working groups.
  • Lead programs and projects that develop the necessary processes, systems, and skills to manage cloud migrations and ongoing operations.
  • Implement security controls and security features to support and address cybersecurity challenges on PaaS and IaaS environments.

Conditions of Employment:


  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required certifications/recertification for this position as outlined in DoD Publication M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program, 19 Dec 05 (incorporating Change 3, January 24, 2012).

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience evaluating IT planning packages to ensure life cycle support of IT services to meet enterprise architecture requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS13).
