Description

Brock & Soctt is seeking a talented and motivated Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This development position will focus mainly on backend development and will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions, with a primary focus on C#, ASP.NET, Json, and SQL. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual with a strong foundation in coding and a desire to expand their skills in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with other developers and project managers in the design and implementation of software solutions.
Develop, test, and maintain code for various applications using C#, ASP.NET, Json, and SQL.
Implement and optimize database structures and queries to support application functionality.
Work on Flat File Import processes, ensuring accurate and efficient data integration.
Contribute to front-end development with experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of PowerShell scripts for automation tasks.
Integrate and optimize workflows using Power Automate.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of C#, ASP.NET, Json, SQL, and Flat File Import processes.
Basic experience with HTML, CSS, PowerShell, Power Automate, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with software development best practices, version control, and testing methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of software design patterns and principles.
Exposure to agile development methodologies.
Understanding of security best practices in software development.
