The AWO Forest Kindergarten Berg offers children aged 3 to school entry the opportunity to get to know and understand themselves and nature with all their senses.

To support our forest kindergarten in Berg, we are looking for a *Facility Manager (m/f/d) in full or part-time (at least 30 hours/week)* starting on
September 1, 2023:


Job Description:


  • Taking over the management of all areas of our forest kindergarten
  • Responsibility for quality assurance, administration, and budget management
  • Leading the staff, including personnel management and organizational development
  • Steering, monitoring, and further developing the overall concept of the educational, care, and educational mission of the facility in accordance with legal requirements, the mission statement, and professional standards and quality guidelines
  • Collaboration with the sponsor on professional and organizational issues, as well as advising families, schools, and other institutions
  • Leading team meetings and participating in and contributing to parent evenings

You bring with you:


  • Completed training as an educator or a degree (e.g. social pedagogy) and ideally already have some management experience
  • Weatherproof joy in playing
