Position: Project Manager for Control Technology and Protection Systems

Client Location: Erlangen, Germany

Remote Work: Available

Industry: Energy/Power

Contract Length: 6 months

Project Focus: As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and management of control technology and protection systems for high-voltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC). This includes working closely with project management, project leads, and experts from various engineering fields to coordinate technical conception, scope definition, scheduling, costing, quality control, and risk management. You will also be responsible for subcontracting, reporting, information management, and ensuring project completion.

Key Skills and Experience:

University degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, or a related field (minimum 4 years)
At least 7 years of professional experience, including project management
Strong technical expertise in converter technology, high voltage technology, and control technology
Knowledge of HVDC technology and plant engineering is preferred
Proficient in MS Office applications and project management tools
Fluent in German
Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
Willingness to travel for business trips (customer clarification, commissioning support)
