Setting up the machines:

Installing clamping devices and tools
Reading new programs or retrieving them from the data storage
Entering tool data and determining the zero point
Approaching the workpiece Operating the machine:
Clamping and unclamping the workpiece
Monitoring the machine process, interrupting if necessary
Self-inspection, performing rework or corrections if necessary
Resolving machine malfunctions (e.g.

tool breakage, coolant issues) or having them resolved Programming:

Determining work steps for processing the workpieces, setting the processing sequence and programming the machines based on technical drawings, samples or agreements.
