- Patient Base: Inpatient
- Typical Day: Support NIS Physicians and Neurologists. Part of team providing 24/7 coverage at a comprehensive stroke center - this position responds to code strokes. ALSO - SERVES AS A LEADER FOR NEUROCRITICAL CARE APCs and holds each individual accountable to performance and behavioral expectations. Collaborate with Neurologists and Neurointerventional Surgeons. Complexity and acuity are to help academic medical center. Have teleneurology (MD) support for code strokes, but NPs respond to all code strokes in person.
- Expectation: Support for IP service at comprehensive stroke center.

In addition to direct patient care, provides management oversight and direction for clinical day to day operations. This position is responsible for professional development of neurocritical care APCs and operational process improvement. This is an inpatient opportunity and will require call and some night coverage.
