- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) REQUIRED
- Utilize QuickBooks for tax preparedness, balance the books and generate financial documents.
- Record all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments, into the appropriate accounting software or ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure all transactions have been accurately recorded and to identify any discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. - Manage payroll and employee compensation processes.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Coordinate office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Be open minded and able to adapt to rapid change.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to finance.
- Assist in the preparation of necessary reports and documentation for audits.
- Create purchase orders and communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers regarding financial matters.
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, which involve processing invoices, making payments, and tracking customer payments.
- Resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries promptly.
- Utilize accounting software and tools proficiently.
- Stay updated on industry-specific software and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
