- Responsibilities:
- Supervising and motivating bookkeepers, overseeing daily accounting activities, and ensuring timely completion of reports and audits.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and building strong client relationships.
- Managing federal, state, and local registrations, maintaining accurate financial records, and staying updated on industry trends.
- 6+ years of experience in Tax Accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; master's degree is a plus.
- CPA or EA certification required.
- Proficiency in accounting procedures, GAAP, and software such as QuickBooks and UltraTax.
- Strong integrity, advanced Excel skills, exceptional math abilities, keen attention to detail, and effective communication and leadership skills.
