4 Corner Resources is currently seeking a skilled Staff Accountant for a wireless communication company. This person will be assisting in day-to-day accounting processes as well as the month end financial close.

This position is a direct hire placement and is fully onsite in Vero Beach, FL.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

Review and file monthly/ quarterly sales reports for multiple states.
Create yearly informational reports for multistate income taxes.
Research nexus rules and business registration requirements for state tax laws.
Prepare monthly General ledger statements for the assigned balance sheet accounts.
Review and prepare journal entries for corporate expenses and credit card reports.
Monthly review of general ledger details and reconcile for any discrepancies.
Prepare yearly muti-state property tax returns.
Review and process payroll when needed by the department.
Write payroll reports when requested from the HR Department.

Staff Accountant Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited University is required.
3-5 years of experience in accounting with sales tax, payroll, and account reconciliations.
Knowledge of muti-state income tax laws.
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and standards.
Previous experience in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
Ability to identify, research and propose solutions for process improvement.
Must be able to work independently and communicate efficiently.
Preferred experience: Microsoft Dynamix DX accounting and ADP payroll.

Staff Accountant Additional Details:

Compensation: $60,000-75,000k annually (based on years of experience)
Benefits Plan including Company Paid health insurance, a 401(k) w/ employer match, company paid life insurance, paid holidays & a competitive Paid Time Off (PTO).
Fully onsite Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
