    **Description**

    Warehouse Supervisor leads their team by placing inventory orders, maintaining organizational systems, and creating cross-functional communication between the warehouse and other departments. Direct staffing concerns and resolve challenges by communicating with transportation providers, suppliers, and plant departments. Plan inventory volumes and warehouse capacity to maximize productivity, warehouse efficiency. Responsible for developing, training and compliance with all company standard procedures. Develops relationships and processes with outside storage facilities. Provide leadership in a dynamic working environment.

    **Essential Job Functions & Duties:**

    Maintains and encourages a safe work environment.

    Identify and resolve all inventory related problems in a timely manner utilizing inventory management software systems (QAD, Whistle and Coolearth).

    Manage month-end requirements in respect to inventory, inventory management systems, and receipts.

    Perform routine inspections to ensure the warehouse is adhering to all policies, procedures and regulations, ex. allergen hierarchy, forklift certifications, and OSHA requirements.

    Schedule and audit Ingredient Room Spice Mix operation.

    Manage allocation of inventory with daily production work orders and review variances with Finance.

    Manage shared inventory space with UniSea Cold Storage.

    Manage inventory supplies for Production and Sanitation operations.

    Maintain dry warehouse and chilled storage in a safe, orderly and clean condition.

    Maintain communication with other departments and UniSea Cold Storage concerning priorities in the inventory and receiving process.

    Ensures that employees receive training for the tasks assigned.

    Manage all dry ingredients and packaging receipts, both physically and in the warehouse management system.

    Establish, track, and meet applicable Key Performance Indicators.

    Manage inventory overflow capacity, warehouse capacity forecasting, and inventory balance.

    Manage all warehouse audits (BRC, MSC, Customer) inspections and processes.

    Change Agent utilizing employee feedback.

    Perform other duties as assigned and directed.

    **Education & Experience:**

    Demonstrate leadership qualities, such as integrity, punctuality, accountability, and effective communication

    At least 3 years of warehouse experience in a leadership role

    Ability to enter and exit a sit-down forklift repeatedly over a 10-hour shift

    Ability to lift 50 lb repeatedly

    Familiarity with using Microsoft-based software

    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via radio

    Ability to perform basic arithmetic

    Ability to operate a powered pallet jack and forklift certification not required (done in-house)

    Ability to see clearly at a distance of at least 100 feet

    Must be able to work in a loud environment
