Job Summary:
This Houston based internship will be actively participating in a variety of technical and non-technical activities in support of the organization's manufacturing engineering needs across all manufacturing areas.
Detailed Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform product research.
Participate in production and test equipment design.
Assist in manufacturing process improvement activities.
Assist in the design of new equipment or operational procedures.
Participate in labor operations time studies.
May provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing areas.
Participate in Company Quality and Safety systems.
Perform all other duties requested, directed, or assigned.

Education and/or Experience
In pursuit of a college degree in related to Industrial Technology or Engineering Technology; Junior standing in college or higher, with a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical interference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations,
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge computer software including basic use of spreadsheet (MS Excel), word (MS Word), and email (MS Outlook) software.
