    Description

    Clean Harbors inRuffin, NC is looking for a Class A CDL Driver to operate heavy and light-duty trucks/work equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs. The role involves driving and non-driving tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Prioritize Health and Safety by following work practices and policies
    - Operate commercial trucks and support field laborers as needed
    - Load and unload trucks
    - Perform manual labor onsite
    - Ensure proper vehicle placarding
    - Maintain logs and reports
    - Adhere to compliance regulations
    - Safely operate vehicles according to regulations
    - Follow corporate guidelines and procedures
    - Observe environmental health and safety guidelines
    - Other assigned duties
    - Be on call for emergency response
    - Assist in site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous material handling

    QUALIFICATIONS

    - Valid Class A CDL
    - Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days
    - Proficiency with mobile devices
    - Physical abilities as required
    - Pass background check, drug test, and physical

    Preferred Qualifications:

    - Commercial driver experience
    - Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
    - Previous Hazmat involvement
    - Manual transmission operation ability
    - Previous manual labor experience
