- Actively participate in global platform field escalations, emphasizing in Lam platforms on Etch, Deposition and Clean products (some or all).
- Acquire and apply engineering theories and problem solving skills in defining problem, investigation, troubleshooting, analyzing results and providing recommendations to resolution of technical problems
- Conduct and design well defined experiments and tests pertaining to the development of new methods, hardware, standards, modification of current material, components, software or resolution of complex technical problems. Generate clear and concise reports to justify the technical recommendations.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, assuring proper release and hand-off of solutions to field support organizations.
- Highly quantitative, and ability to articulate plan including findings, data collected and progress to Lam's customers on a regular basis
- Act as liaison for cross functional projects across organization
- 5+ years semiconductor equipment field product support experience, Automation and Robotics experience a plus
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent, higher engineering degree a plus
- Creative thinking, strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to complete projects and learn the required skills with minimal guidance
- Previous experience in individual project management
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Prior product design, Automation and Robotics experience is beneficial.
- Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
- Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $98, $216,000.00
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
