- Responsible for the reporting, reliability and effective communication of monthly financial statements.
- Prepare and monitor weekly cash forecasting reports for companies.
- Approve cash disbursements of prompt payments to vendors and company obligations while maintaining cash objectives.
- Maintain accuracy of all financial ledgers, record keeping systems and reporting for all companies thru monthly review of reconciliations.
- Assist CO function in company's planning processes and ensure timely and orderly completion.
- Analyze company's cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to determine potential weak areas.
- Responsible for Cash Management/Treasury functions, ACH and Wires for MTUS and MTUA, Banking relationships.
- Create programs to strengthen operations' processes and increase efficiencies and share in a readily understandable manner to the management team.
- Responsible for HBII annual report and support schedules for external audits and reviews.
- To develop and instigate financial policies and practices which improve the organizations financial performance.
- The development, instillation and promotion of all appropriate financial processes, staying informed and concurrent with any legislative or statutory issues that would affect the organization.
- Pro- active and positive communication and engagement with all customers both internal (with facility and group) and external customers.
- To manage and control all of the companies' assets and resources and effective procedures to ensure compliance.
- Active and effective reporting on all financial targets/deficiencies and corrective actions to all required parties, disseminating financial information in a readily understandable manner.
- Authority to instruct Financial Management with the plant.
- Highly team orientated and able to effective lead and develop multi-skilled staff and systems as required to attain all financial targets and standards.
- Highly adept and experience in the management of all financial issues within a manufacturing operation.
- Strong analysis communication and reporting skills to disseminate information appropriately to the relevant parties.
- Able to develop and agree financial requirements with the relevant managers within both the plant and group.
- Act as principal contact with regard to all finance issues for all internal and external customers-such as vendors, related parties.
- Possessing high levels of self determination to drive success both individually and organizationally.
- Ability to communicate and understand issues involved in and with Company Banking Partners, CPA's and taxing Authorities
- Education: Ideally educated to degree level and possessing a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA,or CIMA, in to a further second degree such as an MBA.
- Minimum five to seven years experience within a senior management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Possessing well developed people management skills or an ability or aptitude to quickly assimilate/develop these skills.
- Previous experience in the Automotive Industry.
- Adept and extremely comfortable in the use of computerized management information systems.
