Overview

At Freshfields, our global DR ESG group draws on our extensive experience in dispute resolution to provide strategic legal advice to clients on a range of environmental, climate, and business and human rights issues.

This includes helping clients comply with laws and regulations, responding to regulatory scrutiny, and representing them in high-profile ESG-related lawsuits around the world.

Role Summary/Purpose of Job

As a Knowledge Lawyer at Freshfields, you will bring deep expertise and a commitment to continuously develop in this field.

Your role will focus on:

Enabling the firm to provide top-notch client service: This includes tracking and sharing updates and analysis on key developments, taking a practical and commercially-minded approach to help our lawyers understand the impact on clients and our work, and collaborating with colleagues in the practice and other Knowledge professionals to share relevant insights from client matters.

Contributing to the growth of the firm: You will help raise the profile of the practice and strengthen client relationships by identifying opportunities for and creating client content, and contributing to publications and client conversations to enhance our reputation.

Developing the legal skills of our lawyers: You will provide internal training and act as a resource for legal queries, helping our lawyers stay up-to-date in this constantly evolving area of law.

As a member of the wider Knowledge community, which includes Knowledge Lawyers and other Knowledge & Information Services professionals, you will be led by the firm's Co-Chief Knowledge Officers.
