    Description

    Summary

  • This position reports to and assists the Director of Financial Systems Support in providing the Financial Systems Support across all MaineHealth organizations. The primary focus is to assist the Director and the team in acting as a liaison between IT and Finance in relation to Financial Software production, implementations, testing and training. This includes assistance with ensuring the financial data within the systems are accurate, synchronized, and available to users. It also includes assistance with maintaining proper security within the systems and conducting training for users. The position is also responsible for monitoring the department's help desk tickets and responding timely to users. The associate role takes on many foundational tasks of the department, while working to develop a deeper understanding of the vital role systems play in the financial and operational aspects of MaineHealth.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Bachelor's degree is Accounting, Finance, MIS or related field preferred. License/Certifications: N/A Experience: Zero to three years of related work experience in order to gain a full understanding of the various aspects of financial management and processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and works under the general supervision of team members. Performs routine assignments at an entry level. Ability to train users in the use of computer technology so as to achieve identified goals. Strong knowledge of personal computers as well as information systems capabilities, procedures and practices. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel. Develops competencies by performing structured work assignments.
